Up for sale is a set of MarkL modded Denon AH-D 5000 headphones. I have the original box and the adapter. However I should note that these headphones do have a few issues.

1. There is some crimping on the headphone cable. Not a huge thing unless if you have OCD issues.

2. Running these with the regular headphone input can be a little screwy. By that I mean one of of the channels won't play audio unless you mess with the cord a little. This issue is resolved if you play them through an amp.

3. The original screws went bad. To cure this I used two screws from ACE hardware.

4. The headband has a little but of wear.

Despite these flaws they still sound good. And I really hate to see these go. I will work with the buyer in the price as long as it's reasonable.

I also tested the standard input with some of the audio devices that I have around the place. Here are the results of the test:

1st Generation iPod touch: Works great!
5th Gen iPod touch: One channel dead.
2nd Gen iPad: One channel dead.
Bithead Amp: Works great!
ASUS Laptop: Works great!

Yes the mod was done myself in June 2010. The screws failed in December of that year.
