I see that Auctionworks has the KCS-35's back in stock! Only 15 sets available, so if you want these babies, better order them, now. I should've waited a day......Maybe I should get a second pair as "back-up"......

Well, meloncholypunk and others, I went ahead and ordered another set of KCS-35's from Auctionworks, in addition to my order through Koss USA. I'll have an extra pair of these things, so I'll have some options - keep the second set of KSC-35's or sell them, as I'm sure the supply must be dwindling and the demand may grow.

Why would Koss discontinue a product that seems to be ideal? It would be like Sony stopping production on the MDR-E888's.....

btw...i emailed Logitech Canada (the canadian distributor of koss products) and they said they have no ksc 35's in stock. They also said that warranty replacements actually are proccessed by Koss USA, even though canadians are supposed to send damaged products to Logitech....wierd...

so now there is basically no way to get these things in canada other than that actionworks thing....crud...

the auction is a good price though

because $29US is close to $50Canadian (lousy looney).

If you procrastinate too long, you might never get a pair, so unless you have a pair your happy with, I would put in the extra effort.

You should see how carefully I handle these things, scared to death I might break them.

I just ordered my ksc-35 from headphone.com 2 weeks ago and it costed me $29.00 + $10.00 shipping (to ontario). So this is almost the same as getting it thru auctionworks after paying 15% taxes plus $6.00CDN shipping.

My pair has been shipped out last thursday and I should be expecting it this week. I could post a follow up of the final costs for this pair of phones that I got from headphone.com if you guys want me to. I definitely think its worth it.

BTW, I called auctionworks yesterday and they told me that they only had 5 pairs of the ksc35's left. I am not trying to create a panic, but just don't hesitate to get them if you really want them. Oh yeah, you can call them at nite time too, it looks like they are running this business out of their home because he person that I talked to told me that he answers the phone whenever he can and he said I can call him back before 11:00pm that nite. But please, don't try to call them three in the morning, that's just not nice to wake someone up so they can take your orders.

I am really thinking I should pick up a pair of these . . . do they leak a lot -- would you piss off people around you if they were too loud? (keep in mind I'm not deaf and don't blast my cans like all my friends who are in punk bands and who are frickin deaf)

I'll post a follow up once I recieve my pair of ksc35 from headphone.com

The thing you have to be careful of when ordering from the US is you need to make sure that it will not be shipped UPS, Fedex or something similar. Because these companies always incurr a brokerage fee ranges from CDN$15.00-$30.00. So when you order from headphone.com, give them a call ask them to ship US Postal and shipping is also cheaping. (only USD$10.00 as oppose to USD$26.00 by Fedex).
