Recently brought a headphones ATH-ESW9 Need A Portable AMP

Hi Guys. I recently brought a Audio Technical Headphones ESW9 i looking to buy a portable AMP Current in my list is Fiio E6 Digizoid Zo2 And Ibasso D-Zero which one will be better? I don't wish to upgrade the brass not brass head is because the ESW9 sound is very clear and very sweet with female Vocal and Sound Stage and music instrument at top level i just needs some upgrade to made the sound from clear to clearer from sweet to sweeter Thank

I have the ATH-ESW9 and find it is great straight from the iphone4/ipod touch 4G headphone out.

Much nicer with my Fostex hp_p1 of course.

 

What source are you using?

Hi thank for your reply i use Galaxy Note 2 to play my music files for music will be Flac Wav And some 320kbs mp3

Sorry, i dont have any experience with the Galazxy note2, perhaps someone else can chime in.

Do you think i should change to a Mp3 player like Sony or Cowon? which one will help better in music playing a mp3 player or a Amp? Is not that.my Galaxy Note 2 not gd its still a awesome phone and music player using my note 2 with ESW9 headphone is really great with vocal specifically Female song i listen to Asian And kpop i can hear clear female voice in front bass behind music instrument side by side

I cant really say If any of those options would be better as i havent heard the galaxy to compare.

 

If you are happy with the sound now then why change to another player?

If you can get enough volume then no need for an amp..

 

Try listening to friends players and see what you think of them.

With a headphone of such quality something like a FiiO E6 will degrade the sound. The ATH-ESW9 have 42ohm impedance and an amp really is not necessary because they're easy to drive, I'm sure there are some benefits though your money maybe better spent on upgrading your source. Sound quality will only be as good as your weakest link and that for you owning such a nice headphone is your source. I can recommend you a DAP for $100 which will make those ATH-ESW9 sound much nicer. What you want to look at is Colorfly C3 audiophile DAP.

Yes that is correct. The MP3 player you should look at is Colorfly C3.
