Sony MH1c replacement tip size? - Page 2

I have a simple solution to this. I wrap the nozzle with Teflon film(the one used to seal threads in pipes) until the t-400 fits snugly. smily_headphones1.gif

We'd hate for you to not be able to experience our Comply Foam tips due to costs... so shoot me an email at customer@complyfoam.com and hopefully we can work something out for ya!

for anyone else who might be wondering about this, the MH1c probably uses the same sized tips as the gr07 which has a loong thread on replacement tips. the only foam tips reported to successfully fit seems to be the Comply p100 and the Vsonic foam knockoffs shipped from China. i might try the p100 soon and will update here if i do!

I wanted to share my experience, i don't think I'm the only one who can lose a hearphone tip.
Like everyone said, sony mh1cs are not in the Comply's list, so I e-mailed them. They said that they were between the 100s and the 200s in size, and to order the 100s if I wanted to risk.
i bought them, triple size and delt comfortable with the smalls, because I have very narrow ear canals that gave me a lot of issues with IEMs (but i love them). when they arrived i spent half an hour figuring out how to put that narrow hole on the phones... In the end I managed to do that putting them on the tip of a pen and leaving in for a few minutes. Now i enjoy a great pair of IEM that, for the first time, fitted me perfecly. The sound? now i can feel the "kick" of the bass, like never before, and i like the overall sound altough I'm not a bass lover.

so, if you like foam tips, yes, you can do it.
