New To This Forum Looking for some advice

Hey guys after weeks of research I decided to go with the sennheiser cx985, man oh man did I go wrong with that!  They are sleek and very nice looking/durable, but the sound wasn't what I was expecting and spending $160 on it was a bit rough as well.  Im looking for more of a bass (not beats!)  and so far I'm thinking    Monster Turbines,  Hippo VB, or ludacris soul sl99's.  Can i get your thoughts and opinions of those three and any other in ear buds with good sound quality and a strong amount of bass.  Im a weightlifter/ boxer  I loved to get pumped up on trance/dubstep/rock, so please help me and happy new year to everyone!

What is the player you are using for the Senn CX985?  You might be able to EQ up the bass some to give you the sound you want.

Which tips are you using? The pink/red-cored tips should provide you with plenty of bass. It was definitely a bit too much for my taste, even with my occasional basshead tendencies.

thanks for the replies, Im using an iphone 4 as my player,  not really sure how to adjust my bass, but Ill google/look into it.  And yes im using the colored tips.
