Up for sale is a modded pair of Fostex T50RP, I bought these new from B&H about 4 months ago.
They have the following mods:
'Plasticine mod', the gaps around the drivers are filled with modeling clay.
'Cotton damping mod', the inside of the driver cups are filled with cotton padding.
'Dual entry mod', recabled with 7ft Mogami 2893 cable, terminated with neutrik 4 pin xlr.
If you want an unbalanced termination I can terminate it with a neutrik 1/4in plug.
There is a slight cosmetic blemish on both cups where the cable entry is, I placed the heat gun too close to the cups and it caused a slight coloration on the them only around the strain relief area. And under the left side of the cable entry there's a small scratch. It's cosmetic only, but the price is lower because of it.
I added detailed photo's of all the mods and the cosmetic blemishes.
My asking price includes shipping and paypal fees, shipping to the conUS only.
I'm also selling a Matrix Quattro Amp which I ran balanced with these headphones, I think they made a good match. If t50rps and the amp are bought together I'll lower the price.
