Song recommendations for my new phones?

I'm just really excited to get my HE-400's tomorrow, and would like to hear some of your suggestions on great tracks to try them out with when I get them. Any tracks stand out to anyone that just made them go wow? 

 

Not just HE-400 users, anyone got suggestions? I enjoy almost any genre, especially if it has a very high quality recording. 

 

I have plenty of my own stuff in mind too don't worry..... Thanks everyone.

I think using your own music is the best, because it'll reference the music you'll listen to.

 

Other than that, you can get the Stereophile Test CD(s). They're used for testing out Hi-Fi systems, and have some specific tracks for testing out technical aspects of a system.

Oh I know for sure I will enjoy my own music a lot more, but I am always interested in other peoples favorites for enjoyment.

Like, if someone recommends a really good classical song, I will most likely be amazed by the seperation of instruments and clarity of each one, coming from lower-end headphones (aside from DT880 they do have some nice clarity seems like)

I guess you didn't take a look at the track listing. The Stereophile CDs have many jazz / orchestra recordings that are considered to be very well recorded and mastered. It also explains what to expect in each track. Take a look at the list, and get the songs if possible.

Haha I have sorry, just not before that post. Thanks a bunch for that suggestion, I will definitely listen to this, may even get some of it going now on my DT880's.

If you like any electronic music you should definitely check out seven lions, especially days to come and cosmic love (cosmic love is by Florence and the machine but there is a remix by seven lions).
