Sony phones vs. Walkman in Audio Quality?

Does any Sony Xperia phones have the S Master amp installed or sound as good as the Sony walkmans? If so then I'm thinking of selling my Sony F806 and upgrading my galaxy s2 phone to an Xperia phone. If not then I'll keep my F806 and upgrade to Galaxy S3 instead (or another phone). Also how would the galaxy S1 with voodoo sound compare? I have that one too.

Not sure how it compares with the Xperia S or new walkmans but I had an Xperia T for a few days last month.. I couldn't find any info on the amp they used but I don't think it's anything special, the sound was pretty good but nothing spectacular, very wide soundstage.and good seperation but too mid and treble rich for my tastes due to the bass roll off. My stepdaughters SGS3 with stock player is slightly better to my ears.

My SGS1 with Neutron player is better than them all... and that's even without Voodoo sound. I'd hang fire until Supercurio finally releases Voodoo sound for the S3 and it is evaluated before buying one.

 

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on your Sony F vs your SGS1 +Voodoo ?

I've got the Live with walkman, with neutron it sounds pretty good smily_headphones1.gif
