Current Status: Android --> Portable DAC (E17) : possible yet?

Thread Starter

I been reading many posts and threads but it got way out of control (way too many to go through) and I wanted to know if there is currently a way to let an Android smart phone (Galaxy Note for example) to output music through a mini USB cable to a portable AMP (E17 for example) ? Did someone make this work yet?
