Which type of cable to use? iPod/Nexus4>FiiO D3>Little Dot Mk1+

I've been using a FiiO D3 DAC to stream from my Mac Pro to my "hi-fi" system (Rega RP-1> NAD PP3 > Adcom GFP-750 > Adcom GFA-555MkII > Acoustic Research AR-90s.)  I've been pleasantly surprised by that little $25 DAC, especially since I'm a cheap ass. biggrin.gif

I picked up a Little Dot Mk1+ and I'm going to pick up another FiiO D3 to velcro to the top of it.  The FiiO has either an optical or coax in.  Is one recommended over the other?  What type of cable do I need?   I use an optical from my Mac to the DAC.  I'm just not sure what I need to get from my iPod or Nexus4 into the DAC.  Do I need "Toslink to Optical-Mini-Plug" or something else?

Thanks very much...been lurking here for a couple years & have learned a lot from this community.

Hmm...seems that the Toslink stuff isn't what I need at all.

Basically...what do I need to hook up my stuff with 3.5mm headphone jacks to this sucker:

This looks like what I need:  http://www.infinitecables.com/pop-usa/av_dig-35mm.htm

Price + shipping hurts a little though...looked on Monoprice & a couple other sites & couldn't find the same thing...
