Mine have been stolen. I received an open cover in my mail box and on enquiry there was another open package in the post office.

All I got were my original hard case that I had sent my IEMs in, the ear impressions and hard acrylic moulds.

USPS sucks!! I am disgusted and I am going to raise hell tomorrow at the post office.

On the bright side, Rob the gentleman is willing to purchase and reshell an earphone for free provided I send him the impressions.

I do not know what to do, can something be done to get the CIEMs? or is it just gone? I have been floating in a state of trance for the whole day, as its taking a hell lot of time to accept what has just happened.

I had gone to the bank 4 weeks almost every other day to get a clearance to do the bank transfer. Now this is gone too.

Im just broken apart now after all the hassle and trouble I went through to get this done. I am not planning to ask Rob to reshell or anything as I value his services and don't want to make him go through the whole thing again. I ll just probably ask for a refund or a new IEM, both of which he is ok to go with.

Regards

I'm a prosecutor in Texas so I'm not an expert on Federal law, but I'm pretty sure tampering with the US Mail is a federal crime  This kind of thing had to involve someone who works for the postal service.  I would definitely look into filing a formal criminal complaint.  That being said, the odds of them getting your IEMs or finding the perpetrator are pretty slim.  I would watch your local Craigslist for any adds for in ears.  The idiot thief obviously has no idea how worhless your custom IEMs are to anyone but you (or your identical twin).  Nice to know that Rob is going above and beyond on this.

Got them, looks impressive!

But i have some fitting issue with my right ear IEM.

No matter how hard i push it in, it will pop out after a few seconds. (i can feel the bass is weakened)

i think i need a refit for right ear.

Left ear is perfect, but right ear is painful.

i just noticed that i can't feel the bass without opening the mouth.. probably poor fit..

That's almost the same color I had ordered too with SE sockets. Ah, C'est la vie

Sorry about the bad fit on the right ear.  I hope Rob will make everything right.  What are your impressions of the sound on the side?

Well, due to the fit issue, I still can't 100% judge on the sound. But I think the sound didn't change much compare to the original set.

Yeah, I guess without both ears in right it's hard to tell.  Well despite your issues, I went a head and placed my order today.  I'm having my SCLs reshelled.  I'll keep this thread alive with my experience.

I don't regret with the reshell. Rob is a really nice guy to deal with. I strongly suggest doing reshell with him.
