Ultrasone HFI-780 vs HFI-580 in terms of frequency

I have a question about both headphones. In this graph (see below), it shows that the HFI-780 is severely lacking in everything aspect, though the biggest gap the bass. If I slide the HFI-780 line to compare to the highs of the HFI-580, I assume it will have about 2-3 dBr less bass. Is that true, and does it mean that the HFI-580 has more bass than the HFI-780 in this aspect? Also, which headphone do you think would perform best on rock, (melodic) D&B, and dubstep? I plan on using these for music that the HD 598 is weak in.

Heya,

The graphs don't really show everything in a way that matches what you gear.

The HFI580 is bassier. The HFI780 sounds more balanced. Which is right for you is basically based on those two aspects. Do you want more bass or do you want something that is less bassy. That simple basically.

Very best,
