No it wasn't directed at you or anyone in particular. I just always see ppl talk about melancholy as their best album.
It makes me think they've never heard sd through.
Those songs you mentioned plus every other song on that album make it my #1 rock album of the last 25 years probably

I agree, Cherub Rock, 1979, BWBW and Zero are the best songs of these albums in my opinion. Siamese Dream has more good songs, but Mellon Collie just had more famous songs.

I agree that Siamese is not only the best rock album of the past 20+ years, but one of the best albums period. And Billy's angst resonates just as powefully after all these years. This music will stand the test of time, I think, along with a lot of 90s stuff.
