I recently acquired this amp and I am very impressed.  I am thinking about tube rolling and any other mods . I've looked at some threads on here but I'm not sure if all recommendations for the standard model are applicable to the SE.

Could anyone suggest what I might try without spending too much cash. The driver valves in it are unmarked and the output valves only have USA.

Well I thought this must be the place to ask questions about headphone amps but not a single bite.

hi the output tubes are the same as the 337 so you can refer to that thread for tube rolling there.

 The input tubes are EF80, i heard telefunken EF800 supposed to sound quite good there. personally i have seimans EF80 in mine they are much more detailed than the stock tesla EF80s but maybe the teslas are a bit warmer.

Thanks. The DV came with the Telefunken driver tubes so trying these against the unmarked ones.
