DIY iPod control cable?

I'm interested in making a cable for my Beyer DT770/80's and I would LOVE if it could have iPod controls. I use my headphones at work, so I want to  avoid taking my iPhone out of my pocket constantly to change songs. Has anyone seen the controls sold anywhere? I don't want to have to use controls from another cable to make my own. Thanks for the replies in advance!

They literally make hundreds of them... biggrin.gif

 

Here is a Scosche one, best thing is to find one that you can modify for your needs!

 

Or better yet get a nice V-Moda cable and put a jack in the 770 where your current cable goes in.

 

Good Luck and post pics if you make a cable!

Thanks a lot! I actually just did the Detachable cable mod to my DT770's so that I can change out my cables as I please.

Would the something like Scosche work if you use an external amp through an LOD?

Im sure it would if you plug the scosche adapter into your iPod or iPhone and have the external amp, ect after it.
