OK, so my Twinwoofers wore out so I started out in search of nice and cheap earphones that could be my travel companion 'cause I travel an awful lot. I shortlisted the above two which perfectly fit my budget and the reviews are good too.

I need good sound quality and nice bass(not a bass fan) and they shouldn't be too frail that they break while in my pocket etc.

Suggest guys, giving the pros and cons of both.

es18:- pros:-
1.extremely confy.

2.good detailed audio.

3.bass is just right(if u like rap, hip hop these are just right for u). a little bass rich

4. nyc carry case too. it is rather cheap for SQ it gives..

cons:-

1. built quality is bad.(but with 1 yr warranty it doesnt matter).

2.noise isolation is high.. (dont use them on indian streets..) can be used on metro, buses.

3.lacks service centers( but there r enough)

Phillips SHE3590-

pro:-

1. looks are good

2.Isolation is good (u can wear them on streets).

3.durable(my earphone broke after 18 months even after man handling).

4. service centers are everywhere in india.

cons:-

1)ear tips are hard so not comfortable when compared to sm es18

2)SQ is ok. ( i wanted them to break due to this reason). lows and mids mix a lot.

MY OPINION GO FOR ES 18.
