I purchased this directly from Schiit on July 9, 2010 and it has been used off and on since then (mostly off since I upgraded to a Lyr).  The serial no. is #000113 so it does not have a relay.  I never had any "thump" problems with any headphones since I always lower the volume before shutting it off (even with the phones plugged in).  I am also missing the box but it will be well packed.  And the best part is the warranty is still good until July 9, 2015!  I am asking $Sold which includes shipping and PayPal fees.
