Because I certainly wasn’t... It’s just that I found funny the fact that dailydoseofdaly had a gobsmacked expression on that photograph when the headphones he’s got on his ears aren’t plugged in, but the ones on his neck are (maybe you didn’t refer to the photo and didn’t understand my message).

 

I tried to make a joke about it. Hence the " ;¬) " smiley at the end. Since I’m french, I might not get across correctly in english and I apologies for any inconveniences.

Thanks for the clarification francoy. I'm surprised no one hadn't
made a comment yet that they weren't plugged in actually. It was the end of the meet and we packing up and joking around with the camera.

Btw I had the lcd2 for two years before I bought the lcd3 on here. I compaired the two for several months before selling the lcd2. Audeze has a certain house sound but I found the 3's bettered the 2 in nearly every aspect. If that improvement is worth the price difference is very subjective.

I think everyone here knows the LCD-3 is FAR from a POS, and I believe Francoy was just joking so no harm done!

 

I suppose I'm still getting used to the Audeze house sound. I spend more and more time with them at every meet, but there is still something that bugs me about the sound that I can't put my finger on, and I think it may just be the presentation. Someone mentioned that they sound like the music is being "funneled" into your ears and they may be right. That could be what it is. But to be sure, they are technically marvelous and I definitely see why so many people like them. But for my taste, I'd reach for the HE-6 first.

Every time I go to one of these I end up spending money. Ok, it's either another set of LCD2's or I wait until the LCD3's drop to about 950..00

 

Francoy is clearly an agent provocateur, and his plan to cause an international incident has been exposed by our alert patriots. It is my duty to challenge him to a duel.

Wow! I really hate discovering these meets after the fact - I'm going to have to keep my eyes on the Events page because I would have loved to have made this meet....especially with all of the tube gear present.....

That crazy speaker amp is a rogue tempest two integrated amp with kt 90s.Rogue makes some wonderful products at somewhat affordable prices.Not like a lot of the high end companies who seem hell bent on ever increasing exorbitant pricing.It has gotten so out of contrlol that there is no way the average middle class ( an ever shrinking segment ) worker can in any way afford.

  It would serve these companies right if they priced themselves out of existence ( good riddence). I just hope there are more companies like rogue that keep their prices at sane levels.Keep up the good work mark obrien of rogue audio.

That they do, I have gone from M120 to M150, and eventually to M180 on my speaker rig. These are wonderful amps. The customer service is a couple of notches above superb, and both Marks are a pleasure to deal with.

That Rogue amp was really nice I got to hear about all the flagships there on it and then some. I didn't have any complaints with any of them from it, unfortunately didn't get to hear any speakers but I'm sure it can rock them with ease as well. I don't recall what model it was though.

It was the Tempest III. Definitely worked very well with the LCD"s
