Ok - I have burned these in for 10-15 hours so far and I can say a couple of things.... I cannot get a good seal with the included tips - I tried cable down using the largest tip - no seal. I tried cable up using the largest tip, partial seal. I can understand why some might think these sound rather ordinary. I then tried some comply foams and inserted cable up and got a nice seal. OK THAT'S BETTER. Sometimes Comply's kill treble, but not enough here to make a difference, but the low end is wonderful. I played some lossless Genesis ands Who songs that have low notes my TF10's barely reproduce and here they are clear, present and powerful. The entire sound has a thick quality to it - I think I like the sound, there is a lot of detail here, but also think there is some room for improvement with more burn in on the computer. All in all, I am very happy with these for $27 - I can see them being worth full price as well. An interesting pair of IEM's - I just have to drag out my box of tips - the included ones are too flimsy - maybe some Sony Hybrids like I use on my IE8's....
