Best sub-$100 earphone (or headphone)

I'm a student so I think you can imagine the beating these will take no matter how careful I am with them. I just need a pair of earphones (preferably) that I can enjoy and won't burn a hole in my pocket. I used to have a pair of UM2s and loved them, but after selling them... I'm out of the IEM game, at least until I have a decent paying job. For now I just want a cheap pair of fun sounding headphones. I love Led zeppelin, Animal Collective, Arcade Fire, and Deadmau5 and that bunch so that will give you a pretty good idea of what I'm looking for- Vocals, Mid, and bass. I also like a wide soundstage but that I realize is for higher end earphones and headphones. I'm not totally knocking out headphones because it's all about portability for me, I don't want to carry around a huge pair of Denons, but wouldn't mind something like the Grados in size.

Please give me some suggestions!! Thank you!

Thinking about getting the klipsch x10's for $85, is this a good deal? My concerns are n the cable and strain reliefs, but I'm thinking I could just put a little heat-shrink tubing on there. It seems like a pretty good deal. To anyone who has used them--do they seem to be what I'm looking for?

Awesome deal. I love mine. Shure SE215 is good for around that price too, if you have big-ish ears and want durability and a more forward sound with great bass and vocals. Not quite as detailed but still good.
