Fraps + Xonar Essence STX problem

I currently cannot hear any sound from my fraps recordings.

Only my mic when i have that feature enabled in fraps and background windows noises but no game sound. 

 

Here are my settings:

For some reason I am able to hear sound form 1 game called Planetside 2 but none of the other games I have tried.

I know this isn't a solution to your immediate problem, but have you ever tried DXtory? The video quality is superior and it barely affects your FPS.

I have not actually although I am pretty determined to use fraps for different reasons. I know it's fixable, just don't know how to fix it unfortunately. Thanks for the suggestion though bigsmile_face.gif
