I would appreciate input on how these headphones compare. I like the fact that the A-T can be had for less than half the price of the Shure. It also got a five-star rating from Headroom. I do not like the hard-wired cable, though, and the Shure's detachable cable would seem to work with the same aftermarket cables bought for my Q701. I do not necessarily need a closed design, either, but I would like to add another set of cans to my small bunch, the Q701 and the HD650. I like the 650's bottom end and overall smoothness, but these headphones are not that comfortable for me. I prefer the Q701 for comfort, and perhaps overall, too.
Does the "LE" A-T version sound any different than the regular "S"?
I welcome your thoughts. Before I forget: I welcome recommendations other than the A-T or Shure, but I find on-ear 'phones dreadfully (painfully) uncomfortable.
