Yes, I'm not a fan of flat cables either, but if the sound is that good for the price, as ClieOS mentioned, then it may not be that much of a problem...

the not so good, shipping is $20

It is the slim type of flat cable so it isn't nearly as bad as the thicker type of MH1C. In fact, I rather like this kind of cable since it is more durable and almost as flexible as normal cable.

They usually ship with EMS (I think) so it is not a total waste of $20. The be frank, $45 is still a d*mn good price.

Indeed I had that MH1-C horrid flat cable in my mind when I wrote that, but it's good to know that the D-200 cable is better...

You have to contact the manufacturer directly. There's a link to their website on the OP and their email is bellow:

just got mine in and am finding the sound quite pleasant, especially for 25 bucks. However the MH1c is just a generally better quality sounding earphone even though i much prefer the FR of this. Less sub-bass focus and a tiny more on the mid-bass than the MH1 but more linear and better treble presence.

If I remember rightly they mentioned these having a decent soundstage for the money. Are you hearing that? redface.gif

was not a long enough session to really get to into soundstage etc but i would not say its bad whatever the price it was and thinking about it, cheap skullcandies etc are normally really congested so yes, probably quite nice.

Thanks. Probably make a nice gift for someone who's not 'hardcore head-fi' if you get my drift.

Got mine a few days ago, still burning them in, got some impressive bass without overpowering the mids and still has nice presence in the highs. Not the most defined/clear sound, but fun and very good for the money. Build quality is good too
