Damn. The peak is really driving me nuts. Recently, my ears got super sensitive to sibilance, and H-200 is too harsh. But it still impresses me though. I feel sad. It's such a great iem. It seems like EQ on AK100 doesn't cut it for H-200.

Have you experimented with different tips?

Yeah. The black tips worked the best, but the peak is still very present. I really want to like the H-200.

Comply actually helped reducing the peak a bit, but I hate the feel of comply.

Yup. They are about the same as stock black tips.

I've been using a set of custom tips from aurisonics that I had used with my ASG-1s before upgrading to the AS-1s. They've been sitting around for a while now collecting dust and I forgot about them but just placed them over my H200's and they sound amazing! they are made of silicone and they definitely help cut some of that peak. Would definitely suggesting getting custom tips as they work for most universals and always tends to help the sound a lot.

Your profile pic scared me.

Anyways, I wonder how custom tips will work.

Do you think your ears are just sensitive to it?  I hear it occasionally but it really almost never bothers me (and I really don't like sibilance or harshness). More often it's the bass that verges on being too much for me.

The best tips for me: (I linked these a page back or three)

I mean, there is a huge peak present in these iems. It just irritates me how there's harsh sibilance. I'm not particularly sensitive to sibilance(I'm fine with SRH940), but the V shaped sibilant sound of H-200 is just a disappointment.

The peak on my pair honestly went away, I would not make up stories, I am well aware of what it was like because I experienced it for about 24 hours.

It was only when they were new and went away after running them over night at high volume.

But I listen to my H-200 on moderate-high volume...
