The AK120 cost almost half what I paid for my first motorcycle! 2006 ZZR 600.

The treble is not harsh in the H-200. Yes, in some ways the H-200 sounds like a much better BA200 to my ears. I'm just saying those two signatures are closer than anything else I'ver heard to compare the H-200 to. Some say the TF10 compares, but I don't hear that.

The influx of those ultra high-end DAPs might be one of the crazier things I've seen since I've come to head-fi.  Be sure to pair it with a Crystal Piccolino cable for best results!  wink_face.gif

I took the H200 with me at work and let my colleague audition them with her favourite tracks by Active Child and James Blake. She said: "this is the best earphone I've ever tried!". That's something coming from someone who loves her music with a passion!

this is not 1:1 comparison since TF10 has clear V shape tuning... what i meant was fair good amount of lower bass and pleasing sparkle trebles... this is where comparison ends since H200 beats TF10 hands down when it comes to overall musical presentation.

TF10 is great fun IEM but i find H200 being more natural sounding and better fit with a wider variety of music styles. i also do not like kind mechanical artificial trebles on TF10 which i find bit over imposed sometimes. still for 100-150$ TF10 would be hell of an IEM while going beyond 200$ there is little to stop me from H200.

@H20, marc0, ROLF.... i can only imagine what happens when you bring in DAP like AK?

I could only imagine... I'm quite happy with my current setup: iPod touch 5th gen > FiiO e11 but I'm saving up for a C5 tho!

Remarkable how polarising the H-100 is... ClieOs has ranked them very high in his list, and he's hardly an undiscerning or inexperienced reviewer. Not something I'd be interested in though, I love the H-200 mids. Though it does sound a bit U-shaped after some RE-400 listening.

Hello, everybody!

I received my pair of H-200 this Tuesday and I would like to say a huge THANKS to the members of this thread for all the useful info and discussions about H-200 you post here.

These babies are definitely MY cup if tea. But there are two small spoons of salt in that tea - their fit AND the driver flex. Having read all pages of this topic I see that the first problem can be dealt with using some tips from other IEMs. Ok, that can (and will be) solved in time, but will it help with the driver flex problem? I really like the sound of the medium orange and clear tips but when I push them (or any smaller tips) into my ear I hear this strange click - I presume, this is the sound of the above mentioned flex. And when I lift my finger from the earphone after inserting it, pretty often I hear another click and the sound becomes distant and muffled... until I push the earphones a little and hear the click... and so on, and so forth. So, is there a way to do something about this problem and still get a decent sound? I just can't enjoy those large green tips because of their smallish stage and weaker bass, but they are the only ones that do no click right now.

Try turning them in rather than just pushing. Also try pulling down your earlobe before insertion.

.. or after insertion (to release the pressure build up).
