Wow, h200 thread activity! Still loving mine with vmoda bliss fittings 3.0 tips. And recently listening off of the cheapo Kogan player. Very nice for the gym.. great isolation, great bass, great sq imo!

If you look here at this photo you will see the plugs don't insert all the way. (that is the same cable maker / plugs)

Unless he's adjusted them, you can msg to ask.

See the gap? You can also see the member used an o-ring as a spacer and seemed to enjoy the cable quite a lot. I enjoyed silver plated cable on H-200, and there were some pure silver cables and variations floating around.

But the alternative cables were only a limited run, was a case of launch them too late. There was a lot of interest for upgrade cables from T-Peos for H-200 but they took quite a while to come with solutions. As things move rapidly on Head-fi their announcement on the cables was a little past the demand deadline.

You can try the Sunricky cable if you like but really if Its for H-300 I didn't like the results perosnally.

Take it with salt grains and a big YMMV.

Thanks for the reply! I think I will take the leap of faith and pull the trigger for this cable since there aren't any cheaper alternatives around.

Hi could anyone point me in the right direction on where to purchase a set of these please.

If you're interested in H-200 best you shoot T-Peos an email and enquire.

Some of their products can be found online such as MP4Nation: http://www.mp4nation.net/headphones-earphones/t-peos

I cannot find H-200 with many regular sites I know are trusted so ordering would be manually through T-Peos who ship 2-3 day EMS.

Follow this thread to get their contact details: http://www.head-fi.org/t/724471/t-peos-announce-releasing-altone200-and-start-preorder-limitedly

i just received a used set of these from a head-fier yesterday.  they are pretty impressive.  easily the best i've heard, but i haven't heard a lot.  they sound very clear with robust bass and good separation.  the two minor quibs i have with these is that they could use is better soundstage and that oval ring hurts the inside of my ear, but i think that pain will go away after a couple of days of wearing these.    if you can find these for a decent price, scoop them up because they are awesome!

I dont think they are made to be pushed so far into the ear. I use a bit bigger tips and dont push them that far in, no pain from the ring and they actually sound better.

i don't insert then in very deep.  as i suspected, after a couple of days of using them, my ears have already gotten used to the oval ring and i no longer experience pain.  i agree with you, i found that if i tried to insert them deeper, they didnt sound as good.
