If you delete them, you're in big trouble! I haven't had a chance to listen to them yet, and I am looking forward to it :)

Memory actually, kind of recent as Rin still had his pair, I am sure my impressions are just fine, just notice how they're general. Modded 9927 as reference, pretty much the same method joker uses, also notice how EricP also ranks a lot by memory, it's something you can do as the general sense of the sound sticks, just can't be super detailed and direct. What the H200 really has on the RE400 is the subbass and higher treble presence, making it a lot more engaging, the RE400 a bit too soft [Flysweep's mention of PRAT]. But in everything in between the RE400 is simply a lot more coherent. Now if you change the damping on the nozzle on the RE400 and change the way the lower vent works [getting one again to refine the process], you can improve subbbass and higher treble presence, getting it one step further. Unfortunately, while the H200 is helped by addition damping [just starting using just one layer of cloth] and resistance, it still simply sounds uneven, the timbre is simply not as good.

I like them better than ER4 under many scenarios.  Sound is subjective so I seldom say one is better than the other but yes I value H-200 more than ER4 for me.  ER4 has it's place in IEM history and had a special place in my heart but it is now 2013 and things had progressed and I'm not one of those who needs all my IEM conforms to the Ety FR curve.  biggrin.gif

yes, you right on many counts... but when it comes to 1+2 i truly believe they are worth every damn cent i paid, no tears.

you right perhaps that discussions must be adhered to particular threads, my fault.

as concerns music clips i hope none finds them off mark, otherwise i can delete them not to waste space on this forum.

and of course i assume we are grown up people here so no hard feelings from my side.

i am off to set up a new device in my home rig, curious how this will sound now.

happy weekend & many hours of music listen pleasure.

If anyone started the off topic train it was me lol. That's why I apologized. Going off topic as real conversations go on tangents do is fine IMO, but I didn't want it to get out of hand.

I truly believe that something is worth whatever someone is satisfied having paid. Something will be worth it for someone and not for someone else. In that light, I don't even think about worth much. I really have no doubt the 1plus2 is amazing. Just how amazing for my tastes is another story and I hope I hate them as I cannot justify them in the slightest. biggrin.gif

Don't stop posting music! And congrats on the new gear.beerchug.gif

vwinter, thanks mate.... oh boy i am spinning various records still on my system and i am having hard time picking my jaw from the floor.... this is SURREAL.... i thought my front end system was good, now i know this was not. never ever voices sounded soooooo real. this little gizmo called Audiophilleo with Pure Power Unit turned my setup into something truly magic.... i feel flattened and shocked, cannot stop listening... my wife gave up already and went to bed :-D

as a small bonus i would recommend a few French songs, you know i love many things French do and suddenly a few years ago i rediscovered French music.

girls love this music, spin it and they are yours ksc75smile.gif

Bossa Fragile and photos of Desireless herself.

Ok, enough sweetheart music... tomorrow we will pick something harder on the nerve :-D

I'm sorry - but when I hear about Australian Rock and Roll - that is NOT for sissies - I don't think of pop group Men At Work - I think of the bald-headed bastard and Midnight Oil....

I'm still very much looking forward to listening to all of those tunes. But yup, Midnight Oil rocks pretty good! Inxs comes to mind as well....

Oh, and let's not forget Australian Pink Floyd!

Haha except the wife part I've been there. There was a shaking of the head involved.

That sounds awesome. As much as I like orchestral, there's really nothing like when vocals just hit that level of transparency for me. The actual device looks really cool too. Much to their annoyance, I'd invite my friends over just to be like "how cool is this??? Let me tell you what it does..."
