Good to know that you also like the tsx series. In my experience they have significantly reduced the harshness in the sss's. can you do an A/B comparison between them and the stock tips on this song: http://youtu.be/fAcPySZXA1M

That is one of my main test track for sibilance because it's a subtle song and makes every change really noticeable.

So, does anybody want a full review on these? Kind of like what I did with B-100, a iem that I received for free when I bought by H-200. Look at my sig for kind of reviews I do. I'm free(aka bored) this week, so I can write one up easily.

Alright. I just tried the black tips, and they do indeed help with the peak. Much less artificial/metal sounding upper mids. Less sibilance but the same bass.

Oh man! I should've kept my mh1c tips. I gifted the mh1c to a friend of mine.

After the honeymoon phase is over, and some extended listening with the H200s, I seem to prefer my XBA-40s overall.

To me, the soundstage and layering of the 40s is better than the H200s. It definitely immerses me in the music.

With that being said I will be putting my pair up for grabs shortly.

On that note, is there an IEM (other than the IE80s) that has a great soundstage, great low-end and overall clarity. I see that BA200 and CKS1000 are candidates, but am no totally sure how great the seal is or how loud they leak (which were the bad suits of the IE80)

Unless things have changed since I got the H-200, they actually are still looking for a reseller in the US.  That said, you would have to contact T-Peos directly and see how to purchase them.  Shipping would be costly.

Currently writing up my full review for the H-200.  I will copy and paste excerpts of it on here or write a shorthand version after it's done and posted on the blog.

I don't agree about the soundstage, I think it's amply large and has a nice sense of depth too. Regarding the spikes, did you try foams? They do help.

I found the review fair and representative of the experience of several (but perhaps not most) here who have tried the H-200.  Thanks for taking the time to add another informed point of view on them.

Hmm. I have tried the foams. They just are really uncomfy in my ears. The soundstage isn't bad. But it's nothing above average when compared to iems like 7550 and triple fi.

I think it was the peak and the dip that made me rate the H-200 low(although 4 star isn't low).
