Never had an other in-ear that is so forgiving of fit/sq. micro phonics are a little above plastic cable items, but over ear is comfortable and removes this problem it also brings the mic/remote to a more favourable position.
Overall would recommend to anyone (rare).
Purchased for £40 Belfast apple store.

Really cool.  The depth of the fit certainly seems "adjustable."

For anyone that's interested in watching a review, a_recording has just posted one...

I havn't heard many IEMs, so I don't know if my expectations should be lower, but I wasn't massively impressed with these.

My friend who has owned them for a few weeks (so we can assume they've had significant burn in) showed them to me today.

I felt that the treble was a little too forward and sharp. It had a sort of mono-tone sound that reminded me of cheap closed-back on-ear headphones.

The midrange lacked warmth, and all instruments and vocals were dry and thin. It sounded like the mids were in the next room while the other frequencies were shouting in my ears.

The only redeeming quality was the bass, which although was a little over-powering, did have a significant amount of tone, depth and texture that didn't bleed into the mids.

This is all of course in the context of the price-point, and still a lot better than the only other IEM I've heard at the price, the Sennheiser CX 400-II, which doesn't get any love around here anyway.

I'm listening to the RHA-MA450i's right now.  And they are still better than all my other budget-fi type stuff including the JVC HAS 400.

Hmm, then you're gonna want to take a look at this as a possible upgrade.
