I have an Audio-Gd NFB-10SE in excellent condition available. I bought a balanced Beta 22 and Violectric V181 to take care of my balanced amp needs, and I upgraded to an Audio-Gd Reference 5.32 as my DAC, so I no longer need this.
A screamingly good value with astonishing performance, the NFB-10SE is both a phenomenal, truly balanced DAC (with single-ended RCA outputs, balanced XLR outputs and ACSS outputs), and also a high-power, low noise headphone amplifier, capable of putting 6 Watts into 50 Ohm. It drove my HE-6s without even breaking a sweat. High and low gain settings, selectable digital filter, coaxial, USB and optical inputs, etc. etc. Both single-ended (1/4" TRS) and balanced (4-pin XLR) headphone outputs. The NFB-10SE is a one-stop do-it-all.
Despite my "upgrades", I'm not sure I could tell the difference compared to the NFB-10SE in a double-blind test. The NFB-10SE is that good.
Note: the attached picture is stock. I can take pictures if you really want, but there isn't much to see here. My unit looks a lot like...an Audio-Gd NFB-10SE...
