After a long struggle to find something classy and sleek like the beats, I gave in and just bought the damn things. Saying I'm disappointed in them wouldn't be fair, because I knew from the start I'd end up with a POS headphone that has worst sound quality than a lousy pair of skull candies. Anywaysss, enough with my rants. I'm ready to actually take the time to find something I will be impressed with...I have kind of a limited budget, but not really, I'm open to just about any price under 350 or so. 

 

 

These jaybirds I recently stumbled upon kind of caught my attention, the company mainly does in ear headphones for active people that are dripping in sweat and running on water. But they have a line of over ear head phones called uhhh, sportsband? Not really sure, but check em out and tell me what you think: http://www.jaybirdstore.com/s.nl/it.A/id.223/.f  

 

I would buy them, but I really dislike the foam earpiece, I was hoping for something more like beats, minus the horrible sound quality with some originality. I want that plastic sleek look...here are some others I stumbled upon:

 

Basically, I need some of you hearty members to A.) Tell me which ones on this list are complete ****. And then B.) Suggest something similar but better. Much appreciated! Can't wait to see some answers:P

I see that all the headphones you listed are similar is overall design: thin headband with a glossy plastic exterior and deeper bowl-shaped cups.

Is there a reason that you want this gloss look? I've found this type of shiny plastic is very easily scratched and readily attracts fingerprints (both qualities that are NOT becoming, personally...)

 

Regardless, these are not considered "excellent" for the money, but the Tracks and Inspiration are the better performers of the bunch.

I would suggest you take a look at these, instead: 

 

Noontec Zoro (review)  ~$99

Same look as the Beats Solo, but cheaper and better sound quality.
