Is it coming out this Spring for sure?
By the looks of it, yes. Fiio listened to all of us Head-Fiers real well, and they already have made a few, in the GORGEOUS casing and all. It should sound a step above the E17, and has a micro SD slot. It's small at a tad bigger than the iPhone 4, and a little thicker. Also has physical buttons. smily_headphones1.gif

Do we have any idea how much it might cost?

Oh, it also has a Coaxial jack for external DACs, and there is no news on the price yet.

$180? Why can't we get a player with a bit more battery life than the Clip+ and with a second card slot for under $75? I guess I will stick with the $35 Clip+ players, as they seem to offer the best value. I solved the battery life issue by using usb battery packs. It isn't the most elegant solution, but it does work.

Is it Rockboxed? I don't know how you could have problems with the battery life of the Clip+, based on what I get. Unless you live somewhere you only get power once a week.
