Hello,

I'm looking for more info on the Jlabs Bombora.  In particular, are they worth $50?  I mostly listen to rock/folk, and although I'm not an audiophile, I'm just sick of small in-ear headphones.  But, would like to get the most out of the money spent.  Unfortunately, there's not a lot of reviews on the Bombora, and the only in-depth reviews are from Amazon...I'm not sure how dependable those are.

I was also considering the Sony H201 and the Monoprice headphones, both in the low $20's.  I guess these would be more for the value.  But is the Bombora worth extra $30?

 

The Monoprice gave me pause because of the discomfort other people reported.  I like good audio quality, but comfort is probably up there in terms of priority.

Oh, I mostly intend on using these at home, on the couch, or maybe while walking the dog (although I'm a bit embarrassed about walking the streets with big headphones on).  Can regular mp3 players (Sansa clip) power these headphones?
