I had the re0 as many had raved out them on here, they were solid but I wasnt blown away by them, its not like they changed how I heard my music (which is what I have been looking for forever), now I just have some cheap senn's (cx475) and have been wanting something new for a long time, I want something that will actually change how I listen to my tracks, I want to listen to my entire library again!

What can I get for under $100 or at $100? I dont care about bass, all I care about is detail, clarity, I want my music to sound amazing and clear.

Btw I use only on an iphone 5, build quality is a must and a mic would be nice but not absolutly nessasary.

Ety MC series ; Tried it once and it's pretty clear & detailed, and MC3 in particular has iPhone-compatible mic and remote.

It's rough to get a good pair of iems with a mic. I've tried nearly everything under 100 bucks and nothing has satisfied me completely. I'd say see if you can find a pair of used vsonic gr07s. Straight out of an iPod or iPhone they are fantastic. Used you can probably get them for around 100.

If you can afford it, get from the HF series, they use a balanced armature, which give more clarity than the MC series, which uses a dynamic driver

I personally don't have them, but I have heard that the build quality isn't the best from one of my friends who own it.

If the re0 is lacking detail to your ears then i guess you can try Etymotic. The HF3 has iPhone controls. The HF5 doesn't.  Try to get them discounted to $100.
