So what do you think which one is better for listening metal?

For metal exclusively, I preferred the hd25. It does something spectacular with guitars and drums. Also, if you plan to use them as portables, they are far more portable than the dt770 with its 4ft. Cable and smaller frame.

Great for metal. A but claustrophobic but metal is mixed tight for the most part l. I prefer the pleather pads to the velour.
