Less than £200 pair of in-ears?

I'm looking into getting a new set to upgrade from my stock Samsung ones.

I listen to around 5% classical 10% rap and the rest rock music and I don't really know where to start, I like the Shure SE 425's but I'm not sure if over ear headphones would suit me and the Grado GR10's seem perfect but are way out of my budget! Any help would be appreciated :)

Thanks

I reckon the shures are a fairly decent shout.

are there any over ear 'phones you like the sound of?

also do you feel comfortable buying from the US (im from the UK, and we get screwed on everything pricewise)

Shure are a good choice, I'd recommend them.

Thanks for all your replies, I was also looking into the klipsch x10's and the etymotic HF5's if anyone knows about them too, I haven't really looked into over ear ones and i tend to prefer the in-ear variety but I am open to suggestion upon both. With ordering from the US I'm unsure on where you find yourself with respects to a warranty.

Grado are also over ear. get a CIEM from Cosmic Ears. You should get a twin BA in a micro shell with a premium straight down cable. You will not go wrong with that!

Ive never really heard of Cosmic Ears do they make good headphones or is it just the custom fit I should be looking into?

Cosmic Ears are new so thats why the low profile but the quality is amazing. I am specifically recommending that model as it is a safe enjoyable sound many will enjoy with great comfort, isolation etc. You will not get any custom fit for the price other than these anyway!

Thanks I've been looking over the website for about 10 minutes now and they look very exciting, can I ask why the micro shell and why only the twin BA as opposed to the more expensive options? what is the difference between them? I appreciate your help as I know next to nothing about this!

I have a few models and i would say that the twin are very well priced and under your budget, its only your first step so you can save a tad of money, these are also i think great for a first top IEM and the micro shell is the most user friendly insertion wise and look wise. The full shell is way better at isolating, actually, up to you what shell you go for, check this out:

I've just spoken to them on skype and it seems they would not be delivered until late January when I leave of the 10th which rules them out, its a shame i really liked them.

That is a huge shame, is there no way they could make a difference?

If your willing to pay the extra there is the "rush" option which is an extra £30 ish. Might want enquire if that's a possibility!
