Any chinese Smartphones with decent SQ?

Thread Starter

Hello,

looking for chinese smartphones with decent SQ. Most impress with their specs for the price. Unfortunately can't find any informatoin about their SQ or DAC's...

atleast not in english.

I know about the vivo x1 and meizu MX, but I am looking for cheaper alternatives.

Meizu MX is said to be quite good, and I believe excellent quality as well: http://en.meizu.com/

Here's the GSMArena review: http://www.gsmarena.com/meizu_mx_4_core-review-787.php

I know, but could as well buy the SIII for the price which is known for it's Q. Better support, warranty etc. as well,

I found  some information abouot the Jiayu G3 on a chinese website. Cant read chinese but it listed the wolfsson WM8958E(the MEIZU  MX uses the same one!)

as it's DAC. Sounds promising. I'll probably pull the trigger...

EDIT: Oh, the Information might be only a suggestion thread... damn

Go with the Korean Samsung Galaxy SIII then. Why waste your time on a device that might crap out on you a week after you get it?

560€, too expensive.

I really need one with low impedance output. Any chinese speaking folks who could check it out for me?

Looking into Meizu MX2, Oppo FIND 5, VIVO X!(according to liaow live-support its 10ohm, but I hope they got it wrong)

The korean SKY VEGA Racer 2 has excellent measurements

I wonder about their current flagship, the R3.

I plan to go for the Meizu MX (or MX2) as they say it has SPDIF out. Cannot imagine getting decent sound from an onboard DAC as nowadays they're all S-D with on-board opamps. But with SPDIF out there's the chance of a decent off-board DAC+AMP.

No, they haven't,...sadly. I wish they finally would, because it would open up a world of new tech toys for us. The proof in in the puddin,...and the puddin is watery. wink.gif

ANYONE KNOWS IF THE NEW JIAYU 4 HAS A GOOD DAC?

Do you have to talk in all caps? Meizu is the only one to have an audio reviewer going over it (tyll)
