Ultrasone HFI-580 vs ATH M50 or any others

I was looking for a headphone around $150 or less. I mainly listen to hip hop and rap . At first I was leaning towards the ath m50 until I seem reviews about how the ultrasone are better in every area. I want to know your opinion or any other headphone that is better or might put up competition. Thanks In advance

HFI 580 has more bass + treble
M50 is more balanced

Yup, sorry. Thats correct.
Honestly I much prefer the HFI580, or get he DJ1 if you dont want the 10 ft long cable.

No worries, you were right too.

 

The HFI-580 handles bass emphasized genres nicely, and has quite some clarity to boot. However, you might want to consider the HFI-780, which is more balanced and refined than both HFI-580 and M50.

I was deciding on m50 or shure840's
after some discussion with roller and a few others, i got the hfi780's

wonderful stuff..... but then, i havent tried the other 2
couldn't really compare
but so far i havent been disappointed

Thank you guys ! That helped Alot I think I might get the HFI 780 it sounds like they're more balanced than the HFI-580 and are pretty much better overall
