New to Classical Music - advice? - Page 8

Just recalled did work my way through the piano trios noted in the Wiki entry given in post above as well as others. Was certainly no hardship at all. I assume the inclusion of the Joachim Raff trios was done by someone who has chosen to champion him. I could only find one on Youtube.
Were I to make an addition to the list it would probably be this one by Granados :

He looks suitably youthful and dapper there; the photo looks like a "selfie" taken on his new phone :D

Hey, I am looking into getting some of the MP3 sets mentioned earlier in this thread. Does anyone know if this one from Brilliant Classics is good?

I don't have that set, but I have the standalone Dvorak version and it is very good.

Thanks, I'll keep it on my list, then. I like pretty much all music for string quartet. I'm currently going through the Emerson Quartet's take on Shostakovich. I love it.
