my blox m2c died =(

 

now i need something new.

 

using my sansa clip+.

listening to kpop, jpop, cpop, ballad, mainly female vocal.

 

any rec  ?

People here usually have little experience or interest in earbuds, sorry. Not a very appealing lineup to choose from either. Only the MX880 were impressive to me really. Decent balance and clarity. There's also the earpods, but they don't really have the lushness or tonality for K-Pop/C-Pop vocals.

if earbuds what do u guys rec me that dont need to be from the list?

never had iem before. whats so good with it compare to earbuds?

and if iem what do u guys rec for me?

Generally, the market is skewed more towards IEMs, so there's simply more choice in terms of sound.

 

What's your budget exactly? I could just throw some stuff out like the PFE012 or the GR06, those do quite well with your genres.

im thinking max 50usd cause my earphones cable use to broke on me frown.gif

is it easier to recable iem if cable broke than earbuds?

Err, recable an earbud? You could do it yourself or ask someone to with solder skills to do it for you (shouldn't cost more than the solder). If you're really attached to the buds, it's definitely an option and a good learning experience. The difficulty between recabling the two should be the same.

Around 50, try the Soundmagic E30 or the Sony MH1C.

Why in the world not? There are somethings that they simply don't do well, but I wouldn't say that vocals would be one of them.

IEMs = in-ears. They fall out because more than likely you didn't get a good seal. Gotta roll tips until you find the one that fits your canals. They should always tend to fall out less than earbuds, by sheer virtue of that good seal.

No, not really. But you get really good accessories, I really like the semi- hard case that I got with the M6p. The other site, RHA, also looks like they have good accessories. My only point was you could check out an iem this way; and if you win the 161p then you get a ~$100 headphone for 11 bucks.
