Audio Technica ATH M50, ES55 or ES7?

Hi everybody, I'm new to this forum and I'm thinking about buying headphones for christmas.

The criteria are:

  • portability
  • mid to high end sound quality

 

After looking around and comparing many models I came down to these three: The ATH M50, ES55 and ES7.

My question is which cans you would recommend to me? I listen to a variety of genres, but mainly alternative and indie. (examples: Elbow, Radiohead, Ed Sheeran...)

 

Do you have any other recommendations? 

I looked at the Grado SR80i and the Beyerdynamic T50p, too, but people say that the Grado leaks very badly and that the Beyerdynamics have too aggressive heights. Can you confirm that?

 

And what do you think about open design? I know that there is more soundstage, but is the difference between open back and closed back designs really that noticeable?

 

Budget is 50 - 200 euros (erm..40-160 pounds? ^^)

And are they not too big? Can I go around town with them?

And what about the ES55? How are they compared to the M50?

they are a little big, but I wear them around town....I can't compare them to the ES55

And do they become uncomfortable after a session of a few hours? Do you start to sweat?
