RIP (My cd player died tonight)

Tonight, my Kenwood dp-730 cd player bit the dust..
the motor that moves the lazer  died, and it's far too awkward, and the cd player too old to justify trying to fix :/
The thing is much older than I, but I'm still sad to see it go.
taking its place until I can afford and or justify a new dedicated cd player, is an old dvd player, which is hooked up in my bedroom to an old 14" CRT tv.

this is an expensive hobby D:

on the other hand, What do you guys think the most indestructible, reliable cd player is?

that's a nice looking cd payer, at an equally nice price. my only gripe with it being a slot loading player :/ I'd much prefer a tray load.

Get a streamer and don't look back wink.gif
No tray to worry about so much better expected lifetime and a very different music experience.

I like cd's though,  I dislike digital media, it devalues music too much for me, and I like having cd's, So that I sit down and listen to whole albums.
