Looking for a pair of headphones, around $50 to $90

Hi there,

As you can read in the title I`m looking for some good pair of headphones to use next to my razer charcarias, wich is great for gaming, but not for music. Since I`m only 14 years old, you would probaly already suspect me from being tight on budget (50 to 90 dollars). Does anyone have suggestions? I considerd buying razer electras, but after looking at some forum post`s here (Razer Electra vs Beats and crap like that), thought about looking at some suggestions you guys have.

I listen mostly to:

Green Day, Rise Against, Papa Roach, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Killers, James Blunt, 30 seconds to mars.

I also listen to trance with some good base from 900 Sound System (or at least in my opinion, i am not an audio expert :P).

So mostly listen to Punk, RHCP (I consider Red Hot Chili Peppers almost a genre at itself) and what i like to call cheesy rock, stuff like 3 doors down, Nickelback and Daughtry.

Around that price range:

Koss Portapro

Sennheiser HD-419

Koss Pro DJ 100

Panasonic RP-HTX7AE (but only If you're willing to sacrifice some sound quality for retro style and really good isolation)

Thanks for giving suggestions, i will look after the sennheiser. That panasonic doesnt sound like good idea, since i`m death to one ear and i dont want complete isolation :P. To me the sennheisers look like the most comfortable one`s.

Technical Pro HPT990 (Takstar Hi2050).

What about the Grado SR60? they are fast headphones with a nice bass kick.

They are open back though.

Thanks for suggestions, but i think i go with the sennheisers because of their around ear design.

"she" is a newcomer too which is sad. Anyway I agree the Pro DJ 100 would be the best bet IMO.

Thanks for all suggestions, I`m loving these forums by the way. Its users (you guys :P) are like doctors, asking questions to give the best advice like: What genres do you listen to? What kind of gaming do you do, competetive, casual? Do you have an onboard soundcard? :P
