Sennheiser HD580's vs. Bose quietcomfort 15

Hi all,

 

I purchased a pair of HD580's years ago and a PAv2 amp and have been loving it since. Things change and I'm looking to get a pair of noise cancelling cans.. looking at the QC15's.

 

thoughts on this? What kinda of quality change/upgrade/downgrade am I looking at? I will be using these in quiet environments, on the the metro (DC), and in airplanes. I don't really want to keep both due to limited budget.

You may want to do some research on the PSB M4U2 before you make your final decision. Coming from the HD580, you'll likely be disappointed in the SQ of the QC15.
