My pair of SRH840s takes any abuse like a champ, I don't understand how people can break them. However I recommend the KRK KNS8400, which I think sound very similar to the SRH840, cost about the same(in the UK) and are much more comfortable.

HP100 is getting some love finally, its a great headphone for the price, I am so happy i was one of the first to review it and hear the magic... I do sort of miss them...
