Amping Ath m50 Advice pls

I've read somewhere that all you really need to amp an m50 properly is a fiio e6 but most of you say the e6 is a waste of money. Now say i plan to use the m50 for a year and possible 2 then upgrade, do you think the e6 would still be worth it or should i just save up and get a e17 or e11. Also i don't really want to lug around a e17 or e11 in my poket... what do you think. Would it be fine if i just use an e6 until i get a headphone that is more demanding? Thanks

If you need more bass, then get an amp (E6 or E11, go with E11 if you can).

 

But IMO, they sound really good without one too. (I rarely use my E11 with M50 on portable use ^^)
