Best headphones for bass and noise cancelling

I am looking for a set of over-the-ear headphones that have great sound fidelity, good noise cancellng for flights, and nice bass reproduction.  

 

I was looking at the Bose Quiet Comfort and the Beats Studio, both around the $300 price range.  But I am reading that those cans are over priced.

 

So what is the best value and sound?

well beats have absolutely rubbish noise cancelling. bose has the best noise cancelling available (not as good as custom iem's though) but the sound quality is subpar for $4000
you can try logitech UE6000 and the UE9000 too. rull review here
