Update number 2:
I was finally able to get the USB to fit properly, had to really press it in there. But I still find myself wondering why I got it. After spending some time with it over the holiday I could not tell too much difference between the iPod and cowon sound wise. Anyone want to buy a cowon?

Adding audio and video content to iTunes is easy. iTunes helps you import audio CDs, add digital audio and video content already on your computer, and even purchase new content from the iTunes Store. Select a topic below to learn more about adding content to iTunes.

Apple's iPod and iPhone have sound quality as good as the best standalone CD players. I could have told you that before you bought another DAP.
