Advice on Sennheiser HD400 series

Thread Starter

Hi guys,

I'm currently looking at getting a pair of headphones from the Sennheiser HD400 series, the 419, 429 or 439 as I like the reviews they get and they are within my price range.

I listen to a lot of Drum n' Bass, dubstep, house, that kind of music, so I'm a real fan of bass. From what I've read the 419 is the most bass heavy, with the focus being more on quality rather than that "dirty" bass as you move up the series. I really want headphones that pack a real punch when it comes to bass, but don't want to sacrifice too much sound quality for it. Can anyone recommend which of the three would best suit me?

Thanks!

Hey there. Im a fan of sennheiser cans but unfortunately there not too big on bass even on the 400 series. So you could either use a mix-amp and get some better crispier bass or I would recommend the ath-m50.

Cheers
