Best Sub-$50 IEM/Earphone

I'm looking to buy a new IEM. I had some terrible generic earphones and I couldn't deal with the terrible sound anymore (plus I lost them, but that's a blessing in disguise I suppose).

I listen to a lot of blues rock, very guitar-centric stuff, and therefore mainly mid-focused music. So I'm not after big, dominating bass. I was wondering what you guys believed would be best for this price range.

Thanks.

Really there's only one in the $50 and under that I recommend and its the Sony MH1C, it has nice mids that aren't to forward but definitely aren't recessed either along with nice highs and the bass on a flat EQ isn't huge plus they have a very nice soundstage.

Thank you for the response. I looked into it some more and I just placed an order for a pair on Amazon, thanks to your suggestion :)

+1.

To get the type of sound out of the Sonys that you want, make sure you wear them over the ear and keep a slightly shallow insertion. This will tighten up the bass and brighten the highs.
